Privacy

Field Trip is invitation-only for now, and every page requires signing in. Later, anyone may be able to sign up, and pages may be visible without signing in. Please don't share anything on Field Trip that you wouldn't be comfortable sharing publicly.

Your email address is used only to send you email about Field Trip, like password resets. It's never shown to other users. Field Trip doesn't and won't sell it, and shares it only with the services that run Field Trip, such as its email provider.

Your location is used only when you check “Near me” in search. It's rounded to about 1 km and sent to Field Trip's place-search provider to find places near you. To make repeat searches faster, Field Trip remembers recent searches, including that rounded location, for up to a day. These aren't linked to your account.

From Settings, you can change your username once every 30 days, and delete your account and everything in it at any time.
